Event Driver
Time spent out of the house, surrounded by friends and celebration, is transformative for our elders! And our volunteer drivers make it possible, providing safe and comfortable transportation to and from Little Brothers’ parties or events. First, get to know each other during the ride. Then share conversation and lunch, and dance to live music before dropping elders back off at home. 5 hours
Vacation Driver
From June through September, elders escape the city for three-night, four-day getaways to Audrey’s House to kick back and enjoy.
Pick elders up from home on Monday mornings and drop them off at Little Brothers’ building to depart for adventure and relaxation. Or pick elders up from Little Brothers on Thursday afternoon to drop them off at home and hear about their vacation tales and memories. 2 hours
Intergenerational Events
Help facilitate connections between our elders and students from kindergarten to college. Provide transportation to and from an intergenerational event. Elders get to share their life experiences and engage in collaborative or new activities, and each person learns from each other, strengthening sense of community. 4 hours
