Help bring friendship to an older adult aging alone
Do you know of an older adult living alone in Chicago, Northwest Indiana, or Kane and DuPage counties? Someone who rarely has visitors or anyone to chat with? An older adult unable to get out often or even at all?
To become an LBFE member, one must simply be a resident of Chicago, Northwest Indiana, or Kane and DuPage counties, be 70 years or older and have limited social contacts or nearby family members. We serve English and Spanish speaking older adults and have bilingual volunteers and staff who visit and assist our older friends.

You can also email us or fill out the form below, and we’ll reach out for a conversation. If you’re referring an older adult, we’ll ensure he or she is eligible and wishes to participate.
