Internships

Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly (LBFE) offers a variety of internships to develop professional skills while gaining valuable experience in the field of aging. As an LBFE intern, you’ll help connect Chicago’s isolated, lonely elders with meaningful friendship and essential services, meet lots of new people and make an impact in your community.

Interns may receive a stipend, as well as college credit when eligible. Depending on the internship, mileage and cell phone reimbursement is also provided.

To find out more and apply for an internship, contact Amy Lambert, Internship and Intergenerational Program Coordinator.
