Our team works together with a network of caring, dedicated volunteers to bring friendship, conversation, celebration and connection into the lives of older adults. Working with seniors can be deeply meaningful.
Since 1959, LBFE Chicago’s mission, philosophy, programs and activities remain focused on alleviating loneliness and isolation among men and women aged 70 and older. The need for social interaction is critical to the human spirit—we believe that nurturing the soul is as important as feeding the body. The relationships we build working with seniors at LBFE Chicago truly make a difference.
